The rules have changed regarding international and pro players ‘convicted’ of using hacks or cheating, or of match fixing and fraud. There has been some discussion among managers of top events on whether ‘lifetime bans’ on cheating players were not overkill. But it was not until DreamHack that the top management of an event came out with a clear statement against lifetime bans on teams and players.
